A bright little tote bag with a smiling tiger face on the front: a yellow body with brown stripes, a white muzzle with a dark nose, round ears, a red top, a green stripe, sturdy green handles and rows of white buttons along the sides. A fun, reusable wrapping for Christmas and New Year presents – and a sweet little bag for a child afterwards.
An easy pattern by Svetlana Zabelina with step-by-step instructions and photos; all stitches are explained in the pattern. Only the tiger bag is included.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
--------------------------------------
• Fingering yarn (100% cotton): 15 g white, 15 g brown, 35 g green, 75 g yellow and leftovers of red and black. I used Kable (Moscow Yarn Company, 430 m / 100 g) and Sunny (Troitsk Yarn Company, 425 m / 100 g); the eyes are made with one strand, everything else with two strands held together. You can also use one strand of DK yarn (about 210 m / 100 g), or acrylic yarn.
• 16–20 round white buttons, 10–12 mm.
• 4 round green buttons, 18–20 mm.
• Steel crochet hooks 1 mm and 2 mm.
