A cheerful little snowman in a red top hat peeking out from behind a green Christmas tree decorated with white snowflakes and a red star, with a long crocheted hanging cord. About 10 cm – hang it on the tree, a door handle or a gift, or add a magnet and make a fridge magnet.
An easy crochet pattern by Tatiana Knittoy with step-by-step instructions and photos; all stitches are explained in the pattern. The nose can be crocheted or made from a black bead.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

• Yarn – I used YarnArt “Baby” (100% acrylic, 150 m / 50 g) in white (snowman), orange (crocheted nose), red (hat) and green (tree). You can use any smooth yarn (acrylic, wool, etc.).
• Crochet hooks – I used a 1.75 mm steel hook for the snowman and 2.25 mm for the tree.
• Two half beads 5 mm for the eyes (or black thread to embroider them) and glue.
• A black bead 6–8 mm for the nose (bead version).
• Any decorations for the tree (you can even use letters to write wishes).
• Optional: a magnet to make a fridge magnet.
• Stuffing and a long tapestry needle.
