• Yarn – Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), about 300 m / 100 g – I used Baby YarnArt and Alize Baby (150 m / 50 g); YarnArt Jeans, Nako Elit Baby, Nako Bonbon Lüks, Magic Baby Joy or Dora work too. Cotton, acrylic or semi-wool yarn can be used – just do not steam acrylic.
• Colours: 35 g light pink, 60 g white, 160 g red and a little black.
• Crochet hook 2.25 mm.
• 9 round decorative buttons, 16–18 mm.
• 2 sewing / tapestry needles, scissors and transparent fabric glue.
• A 35 x 35 cm pillow insert or hollowfibre stuffing.
• A red pencil for tinting the cheeks (optional).
