MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

• Crochet hook 1.5 mm.
• Grey kid mohair – about 100 m (250 m / 25 g); leftovers of smooth grey yarn of the same weight for the centre of the face, white mohair for the tummy, white smooth yarn for the muzzle and bright pink for the tongue.
• A black bead 5–6 mm for the nose and 40 cm of fishing line (silicone beading line is best) for the whiskers.
• 30 cm of copper or aluminium wire, 1–1.5 mm in diameter.
• Stuffing, 40 cm of black wool thread to mark the eyes, a tapestry needle, strong thread (dental floss, monofilament) and a few small pebbles for weight.
• Optional: Velcro for brushing, medical tape, eyeshadow for tinting, a felting needle and a little black felt for the eyes.
• For the brown kitten: the same body materials plus a little pink felt for the nose and mouth and 2 toy eyes 14 mm.
