A funny fluffy meerkat with big round eyes, little round ears, a long slender body, thin wire arms, legs and tail and a red bow tie. The wire frame lets him stand tall like a real meerkat on guard, sit in a basket or fold his paws – a charming character for a shelf or a windowsill and a great gift.
A crochet pattern by Svetlana Pertseva with step-by-step instructions and photos. The meerkat is crocheted in moderately fluffy yarn in any colour you like; the whites of the eyes can be crocheted or made from polymer clay, and the mouth can be felted or embroidered (instructions are given).
