MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

•    Smooth yarn for the smooth parts – e.g. Alpina Andre Classic (530 m / 100 g) or Vita Brilliant (380 m / 100 g), about half a skein.

•    Eyelash yarn 1.5–2 times thicker for the fluffy parts – e.g. Kamteks Khlopok Travka (220 m / 100 g), about one skein.

•    Leftover white cotton yarn or felt for the eye whites.

•    1.0–1.5 mm copper wire, approx. 3 m; stuffing; fabric plaster or insulation tape.

•    Cotter pin 2.5 x 28 mm, 2 M3 washers and 2 plywood or cardboard disks (20 mm) for the head joint – or a wireframe instead.

•    Toy eyes 12 mm, beads to adorn the wings, transparent glue, sewing thread, dry pastels (optional).

•    1.5 mm and 1 mm crochet hooks, wire cutter, scissors, round pliers, a hard paintbrush.
