A funny long-legged Baby Rooster Kubrik with big googly eyes, a tall red comb, a yellow beak, a frilly green collar and a bright tail of green and yellow feathers. A wire frame inside lets him stand, sit, stride and strike any pose – make him in sunny yellow or in dramatic black and red. A cheerful gift and a lovely farmhouse or Easter decoration.
A crochet pattern by Svetlana Pertseva with step-by-step instructions, tips and photos. The rooster is crocheted in thin acrylic yarn with a small steel hook.

• Matching crochet hook – I used a 1.5 mm steel hook.
• A pair of ready-made eyes, 10–14 mm.
• Single core copper PVC electrical wire, about 210 cm (82.7 inches) long and 1.0 mm thick (the tail and wings have no wire); adhesive fabric tape about 1 cm wide for the wire ends.
