Arnold is a lanky, soft grey wolf with pointy ears, a long muzzle with a big black nose, funny eyes and long poseable legs and paws. Thanks to the wire frame he can stand, sit, lie on a rock or hold a flower – a charming gift full of character.

• Main yarn – I used about 100 g of grey Nako “Mohair Delicate” (40% mohair, 60% acrylic, 500 m / 100 g) and 300 cm (118 inches) of black for the nose.
• A little smooth white yarn for the whites of the eyes (about 200 cm, the same thickness or slightly thinner, 800–900 m / 100 g).
• Matching crochet hook – I used a 1.75 mm steel hook.
• A pair of ready-made eyes (I used 7 mm) or black half beads, beads or buttons.
• Single core copper PVC electrical wire – about 300 cm (118 inches), 1 mm thick; optional: adhesive fabric tape about 1 cm wide for the wire ends.
• Transparent glue and stuffing.
